PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE
We do not include any kind of travel insurance. We recommend that you take out personal insurance for your travel with Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel, as soon as your booking is confirmed. We kindly request you to send us the information related to your insurance contract (name of the company, name of the contract, insurance policy number, telephone number) and to bring it along with you during the journey.
PASSPORT AND VISA
Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel is no substitute for the individual responsibility of each participant. It is the responsibility of the customer to comply with the country regulation and formalities concerning health, customs and police at any moment during the journey. Under no circumstances should Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel liability prevail over the individual responsibility of the customer, who must ensure to obtain any necessary travel documents before departure (passport, visa, health requirements…). Before departure, you should check with the authorities concerned (Embassy or Consulate) for the exact requirements for your chosen tour and date of travel. If you fail to do so, Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel shall not be liable for any cost, loss or damage which you suffer.
All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of a Passport that is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage. By Presidential Decree of 21 of 2016 dated on 2 March 2016 on Visa Free, replacing Presidential Regulation Number 104/2015 on Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 69/2015 on Visa Free, Indonesia now provides special Short Stay Visa Free facilities for tourists who are nationals of a total 169 countries who wish to travel to Indonesia.
Tourist Visa Free Facilities are valid for 30 days, are non-extendable and cannot be transferred into any other type of of stay permit.
The visa exemption facility can be used for tourism, family visit, social visit, art and cultural, government duty, to deliver a speech or attend a seminar, international exhibition,meetings with head office or representative office in Indonesia, or transit.
The Indonesian Government extends Visa on Arrival (VoA) to nationals of 61 countries which can be obtained at designated entry airports and sea ports. Visa-on-Arrival are valid for 30 days and are extendable with another 30 days to be applied at Immigration offices in Indonesia. Visas cost US$35
Please note that starting 26January 2010, the 7-day Visa-on-Arrival has been discontinued.
Exception to this is the Special Economic Zone in the Riau Islands province, where the 7-day Visa on Arrival (VoA) can still be obtained at the seaports on the islands of Batam, Bintan -including Tanjung Pinang and Bandar Bentan Telani - and Karimun. The7-Day VoA Visa fee is US$ 15.

VISA Application at Indonesia Embassies or Consulates
Visitors from other countries must apply for visa at Indonesia Embassies or Consulates in their home country. In addition, visas cannot be replaced with any other immigration letters.The visa shall then be administered by the Visa Officer in the presence of the applicant concerned.

If needed, Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel can ask the customer a copy of the Passport
PAYMENT
(i) Payment conditions
Following payment of the initial deposit, the remaining balance of all trip costs must be paid to Pt.Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel at least 45 days prior to departure . If full payment is not received at least 45 days prior to the trip start , Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel has the right for treating the booking as a cancellation and proceed to cancel any pending services.
If the booking is made 45 days or less from the trip start date, the full cost of the trip is required at the time of booking in order to secure the requested services.
(ii)Method of payment
Payment will be done by bank transfet or credit card.
CLIENT COMPLAINTS
If the Client has a complaint about any of the trip activities or other arrangements, the Client must bring it to the attention of Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel i n a máximum of 48 hours. From the moment of the complaint you have máximum 48H to communicate Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel . After 48H we do nit accept complaints.
EXEMPTION OF RESPONSABILITY
Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel acts in the capacity of an agent with regards to legal conditions and when every reasonable precaution is applied, cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, damage, loss, additional expenses, delays, or any other irregularity that may be caused by companies or individuals who provide transportation, accommodation, or any other services related to the completion of the trip.
All Clients should assess their physical fitness prior to booking a trip to ensure that they meet the requirements for the activities that they will complete during their trip. If additional information about fitness requirements for specific activities is required for an accurate evaluation, it is the responsibility of the Client to request this information from Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel. Clients with existing medical conditions or other health problems should consult with their doctor about their ability to complete the scheduled activities prior to booking a trip. Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel does not permit unaccompanied minors (travelers under 18 years of age) to participate in a trip. Any travelers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent, or a relative or another adult who will act as a guardian during the trip and who will be fully responsible for the minor. Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel reserves the right to decline a booking at their discretion.
The Client agrees to accept the authority and decisions of all Pt. Sulawesi Adventures Tours & Travel staff, guides, and tour leaders during the trip. If it is determined that the behavior or health of the Client either before or during the trip may be an endangerment to themselves or to others or result in severe discomfort for other travelers, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour.
