What makes the price vary the most
Trip length. Longer trips cost more overall, but the daily cost often drops slightly on well-planned long trips.

Number of islands and internal transfers. Domestic flights and inter-island boat transfers (especially to areas like Sulawesi, Togian, or Komodo) make up a significant part of the budget.
